Welcome to No.30 Whitby. Please take a moment to read our booking conditions and noise policy below as we want to ensure that all our guests have a wonderful and safe stay and also that our neighbours are not disturbed.

To proceed with your booking please confirm your acceptance by completing the form at the bottom of the page.

Pets

Pets are not permitted.

Smoking & Candles

The Big Whitby Holiday House operates a NO SMOKING policy within the building and areas of external premises. We appreciate your cooperation. No candles are to be lit in or outside of the property at any time due to being a huge fire risk.

Liability

We do not accept responsibility for any items or articles that you bring into the premises.

Reservations

A booking is secured when we receive your 25% deposit. The balance is to be settled no later than 12 weeks before your arrival date, failure to do so will result in your booking being cancelled. If the booking is made with less than 12 weeks before the arrival date then payment is to be made in full.

Cancellations

Any payments are non-refundable. However we allow a 7 day cooling off period after the deposit has been paid. In the event that No.30 Whitby becomes unavailable or unusable for some reason and has to cancel the clients booking we will refund monies paid. We recommend that you arrange travel insurance to cover your booking.

Payment/Deposits

We accept BACS, debit and credit cards.

Arrival

You will have access to the house from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Departure

Please vacate the house by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Noise Policy

No.30 Whitby is in a residential area therefore we have neighbours who require respect. We ask all guests to show consideration. After 9pm and before 9am please use the courtyard as a quiet area. Please do not take sources of music outside the house. Please do not turn up the volume of the music or tv within the property to provide music outside.

Window Safety

Please be aware that due to the age and style of the building there are some low level window ledges. It is your responsibility not to leave these windows open and unattended. Please note they are sliding sash windows and are probably best opened from the top down.
