Welcome to No. 30 Whitby

Sleeping 20 in 10 en-suite bedrooms. This holiday house has the ideal location; shops, bars, restaurants and the beach all a short walk away.

The House

No.30 Whitby is the choice for big groups, celebrations, parties or big birthdays. It is also ideal for family get-togethers and seaside holidays where you and your loved ones can come together and celebrate in style and comfort.

No.30 Whitby is an exclusive and unique property; it is a stunning seaside Victorian town house with a fabulous central location in the heart of Whitby, on the West Cliff.

No30 Whitby is a large spacious house which can accommodate up to 20 guests across 10 bedrooms. Every room is different to the age (1864) and style of the building. Some have charming exposed beams, others a fireplace, however ALL bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and flatscreen TVs.

The Space

On entering the property you will first notice its Victorian grandeur. On the ground floor you will find a grand but cosy living room, boasting a large bay with sash windows, having original stripped floorboards, high corniced ceiling and a log burning stove. In this room there are three three-seater sofas and a 43” smart TV. This room can either be closed off with the double doors or left open, leading through to the open-plan kitchen/dining area and further living space; with an additional two sofas and an arm chair. All has been lovingly decorated and stylishly furnished to create a totally different feel to the house. It is light and airy and all in all provides a fantastic and generous 100 square meters of socialising space.

If you love cooking we have ensured the kitchen is well-equipped with every modern convenience you should require. We have provided you with plenty of cooking equipment; four newly installed Zanussi ovens and microwave, plus an AEG six burner gas hob. There is a kettle, toaster, double sink, in integrated dishwasher and fridge and a large American-style fridge freezer.

For your music and entertainment we have provided you with a Sonos One, voice controlled smart speaker with Amazon Alexa built in. WiFi is enabled throughout.

There are two extending white gloss dining tables which, when configured, can seat eighteen. The breakfast bar provides seating for eight. Two highchairs are available.

The kitchen/living area has two sets of large sliding doors which open up the area to create an extensive space by letting the outdoors in. The courtyard is a sunny, south-facing secure area that has simple modern planting and plenty of seating including an extending table and 8 chairs. Additionally there is a downstairs cloakroom next to which you will find the utility room complete with washing machine.

1st Floor: 2 x King-Sized En-Suite Bedrooms.

2nd Floor: 4 x King-Sized En-Suite Bedrooms.

3rd Floor: 4 x King-Sized En-Suite Bedrooms.

For the Children

We have two travel cots for babies and highchairs are available upon request before arrival.

Our Location

No.30 Whitby is located in the conservation area of West Cliff, only minutes from all the local amenities, the beach and the Pavilion.

When driving into Whitby follow signs for ‘West Cliff’.

Parking

There is pay and display parking on the sea front and two nearby car-parks. All of which there is no charge from 31st October - 1st March.

Parking in Disc Zone ‘W’ requires a parking permit, we supply these free of charge from 1st March - 31st October.
